This is on the employee and not the company
Just because a customer asks you to do something stupid, doesn’t me you should do it. It wasn’t that long ago that fast food restaurants had employees breaking out all of the store windows because they got a phone call and someone told them there was a gas leak and the pressure needed to be equalized. I’m not willing to blame the company when an employee does or says something stupid.
